This week at CASEing the Catty, we’re checking out the Stampin’ Benefits section of the catalogue. It’s hard to believe that I haven’t inked up A Whole Lot of Lovely for a whole lot of time because I was crazy for it when I first got it. I think I’ve just been distracted by other new, shiny things. It’s great to have a reason to get back on the wagon.
Well, there really wasn’t a lot of choice when choosing a project to CASE as there was only one sample featured. I did want to make it a little different though so I decided to use the same concept but make a gift box instead. Here’s the sample…
And here’s my finished project…
I stayed mostly true to the sample but added in a filter paper flower in the same colours used for the box background stamps. I have to say that these colours are a little too ‘primary’ for me as a combo but I’m pleasantly surprised with the project as a whole.
Now hop along to the wonderful Liz Gross for more inspiration or head back to CASEing the Catty HQ for a full list of blog hop participants.
