Creating Gifts… While I’m CASEing the Catty

Welcome back to the second ‘Holiday Catalogue’ edition of CASEing the Catty Challenges. This week, we’re focusing on gift bags and boxes – my favourite! There are loads of examples in the catalogue because it features the new Gift Box Punch Board as well as several new ‘ready-to-go’ packaging options. There are Tiny Treat Boxes which are so cute at just 2″ x 2″ x 2″ and a bargain at 25 for just 11.95. There are also Petite Cafe Gift Bags which I adore but this week’s project features the new Takeout Box. It comes flat packed and pre-scored, ready to fold into shape.

I used the project on page 10 for my inspiration. My project features the Christmas tree stamp from the Holiday Home stamp set inked with Whisper White craft ink. Yes, they are all individually stamped but with photopolymer (clear) stamps, it’s so easy to get it right – not a Stamp-a-majig in sight! After folding the box together, I’ve tied it with a beautiful Lost Lagoon 3/8″ (1cm) Silky Taffeta Ribbon and stamped a little tag using the Endless Wishes stamp set and Hearts a Flutter framelits.

Be sure to visit CASEing the Catty Challenges to see the rest of the inspiration from the design team and perhaps play along yourself!

Until next time, happy stamping!
