A Hello and a Hop

Welcome to Eureka Stampers first ever blog hop! We’re so excited to share with you some of our favourite projects from the brand new Stampin’ Up! catalogue. Our team is based predominantly in Victoria, but we have many lovely demonstrators all across Australia. And… to be frank, it’s the best SU team in the whole wide world.

One of my favourite products in the new catalogue is Gold Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. I’ve been looking forward to having it in my hot little hands since I saw some beautiful projects from various US demos. Every sheet uses gold metallic ink on one side and it’s just so luxurious. I knew straight away that I would feature it in my blog hop projects.

My gift box was created with the Envelope Punch Board which is SO useful for things other than just envelopes. I then created a belly band with the Gold Soiree DSP, the gorgeous Gold Satin Ribbon and 1/8″ Gold Ribbon. I’ve also added a cute flower made from Creped Filter Paper, spritzed with matching Crisp Cataloupe ink. Finally a tag featuring the Hi There stamp set finishes it off.

I based my card on a design that was  included in last year’s catalogue. I thought it would be the perfect way to feature multiple designs from the Gold Soiree DSP. I’ve also included in some trim made from Gold Foil Sheets, and have threaded the new Venetian Crochet Trim with some 1/8″ Gold Ribbon to make a unique combination trim. Again the ‘hello’ stamp finishes off the card.

I love this set and am featuring them in a class next month. Click here to see the details.

  1. Wow. Hello to you & that Gold Soiree DSP, it’s something special! I love how you threaded the gold taffeta through the lace. How cute is your fringe scissor flower. Love it all Jess, well done!
