Avery in a template

This week’s challenge over at the Simply My Digital Studio Challenge group on Facebook involved creating a scrap page in just five minutes with MDS. The idea is to select a template and make a few changes all within five minutes. I decided to scrap some photos taken at my youngest son’s birthday.

First a pic of the template I chose to adapt…

As you can see, the page is a little feminine for a little boy birthday, so a few changes there, plus, most of my photos were portrait. Not to worry, the whole template can be rotated and changing the background is as easy as selecting some different digi designer series paper. I found some balloons amongst my digi stamps and replaced the butterflies and lastly changed the title.

Here’s my finished page…

It looks a little different and I’ll admit that it did take a little longer than five minutes but it was still much quicker than creating from scratch. I do love participating in these challenges as it makes me learn about and use a different part of MDS.
