About Me

Welcome! My name is Jess. I’m married to the ever patient and supportive Daniel and blessed to be called mum by three gorgeous boys. I live in Melbourne’s outer east on the doorstep of the Yarra Valley.

I’m formally qualified in the fields of marketing, psychology and education support and previously worked in the cinema industry for almost 14 years, but my true passion lies with paper!

Having the mum I do, I couldn’t help but love all things art and craft. I’ve dabbled in cross-stitch, jewellery making, quilting, teabag folding and had just started to get into stamping when I attended my first Stampin’ Up! workshop. I was hooked and couldn’t get enough. Before long I’d signed up as a demonstrator and now have the privelege of sharing my love of papercraft with others. There are many things I love about Stampin’ Up!, from their generosity as a company to more practical things like the way everything colour co-ordinates but my favourite thing of all is the way they encourage their demonstrators to use their skills and talents to make a difference. Whether that be simply posting a handmade card to someone or teaching someone how to scrap and record memories, it’s all about making a difference in the lives of others.

  1. Jessica, would you share with me the details on making your mother’s day card using Birthday Blossoms (I think that was the stamp). I think you embossed the outline in silver. What did you use to color the flowers? Blendabilities, or blender pens or markers? What shade of yellow? The card is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for your help.
