The Stamp Review Crew features Nailed It

Well it’s been a long while since I’ve hopped with The Stamp Review Crew. I’m so excited to be back this week because I’ve got the featured set. Yay 🙂

Nailed It was one set from the Occasions catalogue that I knew I’d get straight away. I just love it and it’s proved to be a popular one! In fact, here in Australia supplies are VERY low. We have only a few wood-mount sets left and then they’re all gone.

(Click here if you need to pop over to the store and snap one up!)

I turned to the Annual Catalogue for inspiration for this week’s cards. It’s such a great resource when you’re pressed for time and/or ideas. My first card is a CASE from a floral card on 13. I stamped and coloured my own background, added some ribbon,  twine and a sentiment and mounted it on a base of Kraft 12″x 12″ cardstock (oh so sad about that fave product leaving us!)

Next, I CASEd a card from page 23. It features cupcakes but with a switch of stamps, I’ve created a tools version.

Finally I CASEd a card from page 74. I can’t go past a watercolour wash background so couldn’t help but create this one.

I used Jet Black StazOn ink to stamp all the tools so that I could watercolour without any bleeding. You could also use Basic Black Archive ink. I used Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Dapper Denim and the delicious new Lemon Lime Twist inks for my tools. To create super sparkly silver tools, I used Finetec’s Blue Silver watercolour paint. There’s NOTHING that shines like Finetec!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my projects today. Don’t forget to grab this stamp set ASAP if you’re keen. They’re sure to be sold out very soon. Contact your own demo to order or click here if you’re in Australia and you don’t already have a demonstrator.

Now hop along to see the creativity of Holly Krautmkremer!

  1. Wow! I love all three of these cards, Jessica. Those nails for the background are so cute. I love the first one where you created that colorful background and of course, the watercolor wash is wonderful. A trio of fantastic masculine cards!

  2. What amazing cards, Jessica! I’m sure the rest of the sets will be gone in no time, thanks to you! I really love your suggestion for getting ideas from the catalog as well.

  3. WOWOWOW! These three cards are amazing and I love how the colors you’ve played with really pop off the cards. Your coloring is fabulous too – you’ve made the gray metal really interesting. I am inspired.

  4. Three fabulous cards. I love them all but the very first one is my all time fave! Love the mix of the orange with the blue. I to will be very sad to see kraft go! Can we start a petition? HA! Thanks for sharing your fabulous creations. Rochelle xo
