I’m really looking forward to seeing all the entries this week as these colours had me stumped. In fact, I had to resort to retired ribbon to make it work.

I love though, that there are always a couple of stamp sets I can always rely on and Birthday Blooms is totally one of those sets. I stamped my bloom and did a super quick messy sort of watercolour wash and then fussy cut it and mounted it on my card.

Now it’s your turn to play along. Don’t forget that you can add in neutrals with any colour combo AND the winner of this week’s challenge will earn themselves a guest designer gig. Woop! Check out some more inspiration here.

  1. Loving the earthy, yet soft feel of your project! Really lovely floral focal point framed by the touch of ribbon and laid on the light border to give the backdrop a smooth and soft transition. Thanks for sharing your talent and inspiration!
