Welcome to a super special edition of the Artisan Design Team blog hop! Today we’re bringing you some project ideas for using the amazing new Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies.
My first project features the not-so-Christmassy Blooms and Wishes stamp set but by choosing the right colours and accessories, the stamps look like they were made for Christmas tags!
There are a couple of stamps just perfect for stamping in a circle to create a wreath and I think these little blooms look so much like poinsettias. I added some Mini Jingle Bells to the centre of each after embossing them in gold to suit my colour palette.
My next project features the Oh, What Fun stamp set and boy is it made for Christmas! There are loads of fun sentiments to use. I decided to focus on the santa sentiments so I used the ‘HO HO HO’ and ‘From Santa’ stamp sets.
To start my project, I grabbed 2 x Clear Tiny Treat Boxes and removed some of the tabs so that I could stick them together to create a larger rectangular box. Next I used my square Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies to create rectangles for bricks.
I sponged the edges of my bricks and added some splatters for texture. Next I adhered the bricks to the treat box, leaving some areas clear so that the treats can be seen. Ta Da. I have a little chimney gift box! I added some accessories and a tag and my chimney was finished.
Super cute Santa artwork by Mr 5 and Mr 8.
