Birthday Blooms… and CASEing the Catty

Is it just me or do the weekends fly by? Luckily there’s still a bit of relaxing to do before it ends. I love doing the CASEing the Catty blog hop before the craziness of Monday begins!

This week, we’re cheacking out my favourite section of the Occasions catalogue – pages 8-15 which includes the beautiful Birthday Bouquet suite of products. I decided to CASE a card that features some of the stamps from the set that I hadn’t even mounted yet,  the ‘dear friend’ card below.

OK, so I’m trying to get better at making more than one card at a time and this was a perfect time to make multiples. I also knew that I’d have a hard time choosing just one colour combo… so I made four!

As you can see, I had fun choosing several different combinations and then used up some scraps to add the layers so each one is a little different. Which one do you like best? I like the Blackberry Bliss/Mint Macaron/Pool Party combo best so I decided to gift it straight away… and of course I needed a matching envelope.

Super cute! We really do owe Stampin’ Up!’s concept artists a big thank you for their wonderful catalogue samples that are such a big source of inspiration!

Now be sure to hop along to one of my favourites, Rebecca Scurr for more inspiration!

  1. These cards are super cute Jess. Love the versatility you have introduced with the different colours too. I think my fave is the bottom left one but its too hard to choose!

  2. Such a pretty set of cards! I can’t decide which colour combo I like best either. I hadn’t noticed that card (or even that stamp!!) so thanks for making it so beautiful!
