It’s time to CASE the Catty for another week! This week, we’re taking our first look at the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. Each of the CASEing the Catty team has chosen a project to copy and share from the catalogue.
I was itching to use some of the new super cute Honeycomb Elements and I found the perfect card on the front cover of the catalogue.
I reproduced my first card almost exactly the same as the sample using the Mint Macaron honeycomb but I did colour my background ice-creams in softer colours.
Then I decided to change it up just a little and add my own style. I used a plain black and white background because I wanted to try making a rainbow honeycomb ice-cream. The white honeycomb elements are actually easy to dye and colour you like. You can spritz them with ink as suggested in the catalogue but I actually used markers on mine as I wanted a multitude of different colours in small spaces. I quite liked how it turned out!
Now that you’ve seen my projects, be sure to hop along to the lovely Rebecca Scurr to see some more inspiration.
You can also do the hop in reverse and visit Kathryn Mangelsdorf…
