December Decor

Welcome to another festive version of CASEing the Catty. This week the team has been checking out the 3D, gift wrapping and home decor projects from the Holiday Catalogue. I don’t know about you but I LOVE decorating for Christmas. It’s so much fun creating projects that you can enjoy for the next month or so.

I decided to take my inspiration from the Halloween section of the catalogue. There’s an impressive looking candy buffet and I loved the tag decorations adorning the jars.

I used the Lots of Labels framelits as in the sample projects and used some Hello December 2015 Project Life cards  as my base. PL cards give you the strength of cardstock with the design of DSP so it’s a win win!

Instead of the spiderweb doily, I created a snowflake style rosette using the shape from the Lots of Label framelits. I attached a button and Silver Cording Trim and attached to the jar.

My jar is filled with Raspberry Bliss Balls, my all time favourite recipe from Wholefood Simply! Just 4 ingredients and free from gluten, grains, dairy, egg and refined sugar. SO delicious. They do NOT last long in my house!

My next tag featured the Lots of Labels framelits again along with the Stars framelits and Silver Thread and Cording Trim. I used my Alphabet Rotary stamp to create my own phrase. I’m sure I’m late to the party on this one but I sure had a giggle when I first saw this the other day. It was a must-do for my candy cane jar!

  1. LOL! ‘Get your fat pants ready’ – that is hilarious!! I have a floaty Christmas dress that I wear to allow for festive indulgences. 🙂
    Love your projects! 🙂

  2. These are great! As soon as I saw the snowflake rosette I was wondering how you did it, great thinking outside the box. But my favourite bit is the sentiment made with the Alphabet Rotary stamp! I really must break that out more 😀

  3. Your snow flake looks amazing!! How did you do that? I bet there aren’t any bliss balls left cos they look too delicious. And I love the Fat pants one!! The star looks awesome!
